Сам Василий Юрченко также был удостоен почётной награды за активное содействие развитию бокса — ему вручили почетный пояс от имени председателя Высшего наблюдательного совета Федерации бокса России генерала армии Евгения Мурова.
Прошедшие соревнования являлись отборочным этапом к чемпионату мира, который пройдет в мае 2012 года в Китае. А уже по его итогам будет определен окончательный состав сборной команды России по женскому боксу для участия в Олимпийских играх.
